Leasing Professional – The Edge (Student Living)

About the role

The Edge community is seeking a Leasing Professional to drive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for its student‑living portfolio. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications, and move‑in processes while ensuring high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track unit availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordinate any necessary updates.
