Leasing Professional – The Easley Community

About the role

The Easley community in Winston‑Salem, NC is seeking a Leasing Professional to drive occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while supporting resident retention and renewal initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to greet and qualify prospects and conduct effective community tours.
• Experience handling lease documentation, applications and move‑in coordination.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and maintenance coordination.
• Knowledge of local market trends and ability to implement marketing strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Familiarity with internet marketing platforms including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
