Leasing Professional – The Duncan Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Duncan community by managing all aspects of the leasing process and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials as needed.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the marketing team.
