Leasing Professional – The Driftway

About the role

The Leasing Professional at The Driftway will lead all leasing activities for the community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. Working Tuesday‑Saturday, you will guide prospects through the leasing process and ensure a smooth move‑in experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting tours and presenting leasing information.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing and unit inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook, email campaigns).
