Leasing Professional (Temporary) – Garden Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to support a stabilized garden‑style community of 300 units. This temporary role (up to 90 days) focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through full‑cycle leasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needed, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture leasing metrics.

Required profile

• Experience performing sales and leasing activities in a residential community.
• Ability to inspect units, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure move‑in readiness.
• Strong awareness of local market conditions and competitor activity.
• Capability to develop and implement marketing strategies to sustain occupancy.
• Proficiency in using property management software for data tracking and reporting.
