Leasing Professional – Tava Waters

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Tava Waters community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and execute resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns to generate traffic.
• Maintain accurate data on apartment availability, prospect activity, and resident demographics using property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.).
• Ensure show units meet company standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management platforms such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing channels (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
• Knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening, and background checks.
