Leasing Professional – Tampa

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join its Tampa community office. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready for residents, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track unit availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Ability to engage with prospects, conduct tours, and qualify applicants.
• Experience processing leasing applications, performing credit and background checks, and preparing lease documentation.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and coordination with maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of local market trends and ability to implement marketing strategies.

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi.
