Leasing Professional – Smith & Rio

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Smith & Rio community in Tempe. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive leasing and resident engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple leasing activities simultaneously.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
