Leasing Professional – Skymor Buford

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Skymor Buford community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure apartments are ready.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of local rental market conditions and competitor activity.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
