Leasing Professional – Shorewood Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join the Shorewood Apartments team on Mercer Island. Working Tuesday‑Saturday, you will help maintain high occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction in a garden‑style community with lake views.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track leads, applications, and lease activity.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Proactive approach to achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Knowledge of local rental market conditions and competitor offerings.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, from tours to lease paperwork, in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools, including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Competence in processing applications, credit checks, and background screenings.
