Leasing Professional – River Ford Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for our River Ford community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through proactive leasing activities and exceptional resident service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track unit availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitive positioning.
• Ability to manage multiple leasing tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate with maintenance and marketing teams.
