About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join its Richmond community team. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through proactive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings, and run criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before occupancy to confirm they are move‑in ready.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and follow up on lease renewals to achieve retention goals.
• Collaborate with marketing and property management teams to meet occupancy targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple leasing transactions simultaneously.
• Goal‑driven mindset focused on achieving occupancy and revenue objectives.
