Leasing Professional – Preserve at Westfields

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Preserve at Westfields community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate data in the on‑site property management system, tracking availability, traffic, and resident demographics.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple leasing activities simultaneously.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency in online marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
