Leasing Professional – Onyx 183

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Onyx 183 community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needs, and ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs and employer outreach.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering a seamless resident experience.
• Self‑motivated and results‑driven with a passion for achieving occupancy goals.

Required skills

• Experience with property management platforms such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in internet marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
