Leasing Professional – Midrise Lease‑Up Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal initiatives for a mid‑rise community of 356 units. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing activities including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and ability to develop effective marketing strategies.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit readiness.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property‑management systems.
• Experience using online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
