Leasing Professional – Mid‑Rise Apartment Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will support The Rowe at Commonwealth, a mid‑rise apartment community in Charlotte, NC, by driving leasing activity, resident satisfaction, and lease renewals. This full‑time position focuses on achieving occupancy and revenue targets while delivering high‑quality service to prospective and current residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑ins, and inspect units for readiness.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any outstanding unit issues before move‑in.

Required profile

• Ability to perform all sales and leasing activities to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Strong attention to detail for lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Knowledge of local market trends and ability to implement marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with prospects, residents, and internal teams.
