Leasing Professional – Mid‑Rise Apartment Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for Liberty Warehouse, a stabilized mid‑rise community of 247 units in Durham, NC. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets while delivering a high‑quality leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Attention to detail for unit inspections and lease documentation.
• Ability to analyze market data and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
