About the role

The Leasing Professional (Lease Up) is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention at a Greystar community in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The role combines sales, customer service, and administrative duties to ensure a seamless leasing experience from prospect contact through move‑in and lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments prior to occupancy to confirm they are move‑in ready.
• Maintain resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and secure lease renewals.
• Collaborate with marketing and property management teams to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
