Leasing Professional – High Point Uptown

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the High Point Uptown community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needs, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing strategies.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or property management with a strong sales focus.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills to build relationships with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of local rental market conditions and competitor activity.
