Leasing Professional – Garden‑Style Community (Neuse Landing)

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for Neuse Landing, a new‑construction garden‑style community in New Bern, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction throughout the leasing cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build relationships with prospective and existing residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
