Leasing Professional – Garden Community

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing and renewal activities for a stabilized garden-style community of 264 units. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through effective leasing processes and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move-in packages and ensure smooth resident move-ins.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans and apply community concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer-service orientation with ability to guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Attention to detail for apartment inspections and move-in readiness.
• Knowledge of local market trends and ability to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
