Leasing Professional for Villas Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for the Villas at Gateway community, driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, ensure a smooth move‑in experience and maintain high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitive positioning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet occupancy targets and handle lease renewals.
