Leasing Professional for Vicino Apartments

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for Vicino Apartments. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate records of unit availability, traffic, and leasing activity using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience, preferably with exposure to affordable housing.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build rapport with prospective and current residents.
• Ability to work a Thursday‑Monday schedule with weekend availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi (or similar property management software).
• Experience using OneSite or comparable leasing tracking tools.
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook).
