Leasing Professional for Riverwood Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join Greystar’s Riverwood community in New Canaan. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing and renewal activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective renters and will ensure a seamless leasing experience from inquiry through move‑in and renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordinate any needed repairs.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, and comfortable using data to drive decisions.
• Ability to work independently and meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
• Ability to generate reports and analyze leasing metrics within the software.
