Leasing Professional for Avana Evergreen Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for the Avana Evergreen community by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospecting to lease renewal, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple leasing activities simultaneously.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and e‑mail campaigns.
