Leasing Professional for Alta Cosner Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Alta Cosner community in Fredericksburg. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, ensuring a smooth leasing process and high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units to Greystar’s quality standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Detail‑oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving unit readiness issues.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools, including Craigslist and Facebook.
