About the role
The Floating Leasing Professional supports the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. You will guide prospective residents through the leasing process, ensure smooth move‑ins, and maintain high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
- Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate resident move‑ins.
- Inspect apartments before move‑in to confirm readiness and schedule any necessary preparations.
- Manage lease renewals and work to retain existing residents.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple leasing activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work onsite in a residential community environment.
