Leasing Professional – Element SouthPark

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Element SouthPark community in Charlotte, NC, ensuring occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction targets are met. You will be responsible for guiding prospects through tours, processing applications, preparing lease documents and supporting resident move‑ins and renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing lease and move‑in packages, and ensuring smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic and leasing activity, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends as required.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and lease documentation.
• Proactive approach to staying informed about local market trends and competitor activity.
