Leasing Professional – Community Leasing Specialist

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Pinewood Estates community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform occupancy strategies.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Maintain accurate data in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) for availability, traffic, and resident demographics.
• Ensure show units meet company standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing or property management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet occupancy goals.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics.
