Leasing Professional – Community Leasing

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Gardens at Greenhouse community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction. This role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring smooth move‑ins, and supporting resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and oversee resident move‑in procedures.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Attention to detail for apartment inspections and lease documentation.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Effective communication skills for tours, negotiations, and resident interactions.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools, including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
