Leasing Professional – Chamberlain House

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for Chamberlain House, a mid‑rise community of 345 units. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals through all phases of the leasing cycle, from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy targets, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding issues with the maintenance team.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or property management with a strong sales orientation.
• Ability to conduct tours, qualify prospects and manage the full leasing process.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Effective communication skills for resident interaction and marketing outreach.
