Leasing Professional – Centric Gateway

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its Centric Gateway community in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through comprehensive leasing activities and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple leasing tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite and Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
