About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team at the Upstairs at Bethesda Row community. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective leasing, marketing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑ins and lease signings.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet, qualify, and guide prospective residents.
• Experience conducting tours, processing leasing applications, and handling lease documentation.
• Attention to detail for apartment inspections and coordination with maintenance teams.
• Ability to stay informed on local market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Proactive approach to marketing, outreach, and resident retention initiatives.
