Leasing Professional – Avila Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for the Avila community in Rancho Santa Margarita. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention goals by guiding prospects through the leasing process, delivering a high level of resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management system and provide exceptional customer service throughout the resident’s lease term.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience in a residential or multifamily setting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with proven sales and closing ability.
• Weekend availability required; typical schedule 9 am–6 pm, subject to business needs.
• Experience with property management software (Knock CRM, Yardi, or similar) preferred.
