Leasing Professional – Aven Ridge Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Aven Ridge community by managing all aspects of the leasing process, from prospect outreach to move‑in and lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show units and community spaces to Greystar’s quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related sales role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitive positioning.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property‑management software.
• Experience using online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Ability to conduct credit and background screenings.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
