Leasing Professional – Ascend at Potranco

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Ascend on Potranco community. This role manages the full leasing cycle, from prospect greeting to lease signing, and ensures a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to greet and qualify prospects effectively.
• Experience conducting community tours and showing apartments.
• Capability to process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
