Leasing Professional – Alta Rowe

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Alta Rowe community in Durham, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance to deliver move‑in ready apartments.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity and maintain prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Experience performing sales and leasing activities in a multifamily or residential setting.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to qualify prospects and guide them through the leasing process.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
• Attention to detail for unit inspections and coordination with maintenance teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
