Leasing Manager – Student Living Community

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead the marketing, sales and leasing activities for the Haven at M student‑living community. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for driving revenue, occupancy and resident retention through effective advertising, pricing strategies and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and internet advertising to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
• Set rent pricing, concessions and leasing incentives based on market and competitor analysis.
• Oversee on‑site traffic, ensure a ready inventory of apartments and monitor daily leasing operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance to maintain appearance, safety standards and enhance unit marketability.
• Generate and track leasing traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents and manage move‑in procedures.
• Produce regular sales and leasing reports using the company’s property‑management software.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans and implement creative strategies to boost traffic and leases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing, property management or student‑housing sales.
• Strong knowledge of local market conditions and competitor activity.
• Ability to lead a leasing team and coordinate with maintenance and marketing functions.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing financial, traffic and conversion reports.
