Leasing Manager – Prose Highland

About the role

The Leasing Manager will lead all leasing activities for the Prose Highland community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience from inquiry to move‑in and renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the marketing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or property management with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Ability to develop and implement effective marketing and outreach strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage applications, inspections, and move‑in processes.
