About the role

As the first point of contact for prospective residents in Sarasota, the Leasing Consultant (Lease‑Up) will guide applicants through the leasing process, showcase the community’s lifestyle, and help turn tours into long‑term tenancy. The role blends sales, customer service, and event coordination to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease signing and move‑in procedures.
• Collect and record new resident information accurately at move‑in.
• Monitor market trends and collaborate with leadership to adjust pricing, concessions, and marketing strategies.
• Develop and execute marketing activities, resident referral programs, employer outreach, and community events to generate traffic.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track unit availability and resident data.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in leasing, sales, or customer‑facing roles within residential real estate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet occupancy targets, and maintain accurate records.
