Leasing Consultant – Lease Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lead the lease‑up phase for a new community in The Russell, VA. You will drive marketing, sales, and leasing activities to meet revenue, occupancy, and resident‑retention targets.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and online advertising, and sales initiatives.
• Manage on‑site traffic, maintain an inventory of ready‑to‑lease apartments, and set rent pricing and concessions.
• Monitor daily leasing activities, generate and analyze sales and leasing reports.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions; develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure property appearance and safety standards.
• Inspect ready units, create mini‑models, and use merchandising techniques to enhance marketability.
• Participate actively in the leasing process: generate traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and complete move‑in procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and pricing strategies.
• Ability to lead a leasing team and coordinate cross‑functional resources.
