Learning Services Team Leader – US & Canada

About the role

The Learning Services Team Leader oversees a group of Learning Services Specialists, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to meet client training objectives across the United States and Canada. This position balances day‑to‑day operational management with strategic development of training programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Learning Services Specialists, handling daily learning needs of business partners and clients.
• Supervise training staff across multiple business lines, fostering collaborative techniques and continuous improvement.
• Act as interim department head when required, making decisions on behalf of the team and stakeholders.
• Implement assessments, monitor performance metrics, and uphold quality standards.
• Design work plans, identify training needs, and deliver measurable outcomes that demonstrate ROI.
• Produce reporting materials and develop content as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a service‑delivery environment.
• At least 1 year of adult training or education experience.
• Proven ability to implement innovative training models and manage performance.
• Strong facilitation skills and knowledge of Kirkpatrick, ADDIE, and SAM models.
• Deep understanding of Andragogy and adult learning theory.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and ability to pass background checks.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Google Suite.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to adopt new training technologies and leverage AI and digital solutions.
