Learning Partner – NYC

About the role

Playlab is seeking a Learning Partner to join its Learning team in New York City. The role supports schools as they adopt Playlab’s AI‑focused tools, helping educators and students build capacity to understand, use, and design AI systems that fit their unique contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Playlab implementation across NYC schools, providing tailored support for AI literacy, instructional transformation, or operational innovation.
• Design and deliver professional learning experiences, including trainings, PLCs, and coaching sessions that build educator competence in AI concepts and app‑building.
• Guide partners in planning, deploying, and refining AI‑focused learning experiences aligned with emerging standards and school priorities.
• Coach educators and students on integrating AI tools into daily practice.
• Collect field insights to inform product, learning material, and partnership model improvements.

Required profile

• Passion for equitable education and AI‑enabled learning.
• Experience working with K‑12 schools or educational partners.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to facilitate workshops and coaching sessions.
• Comfort navigating complex educational environments and aligning technology with pedagogical goals.

Required skills

• Understanding of AI concepts and their application in education.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development for educators.
• Ability to translate technical ideas into accessible learning experiences.
