Learning & Development Lead

About the role

The company, an Alphabet-owned drone delivery platform, is seeking a Learning & Development Lead to shape its corporate training function. Based hybrid in Palo Alto, CA (or remotely within the United States), the role will design, launch, and scale a next‑generation learning ecosystem that leverages AI and large‑language‑model driven knowledge engines for a highly technical workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Build the blueprint, strategy, and system foundation for the organization’s first centralized corporate training function.
• Evaluate, select, and implement modern, AI‑driven learning tools and knowledge systems, moving beyond traditional LMS solutions.
• Architect core learning pillars using learning‑science principles to create adaptive pathways that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Design and launch initial learning programs that support rapid operational scaling and skill acquisition.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed contextual, real‑time learning support throughout the employee experience.
