Leader in Training – Dispensary Operations

About the role

The Leader in Training (LIT) is a pivotal member of the RISE Dispensary leadership team, focused on delivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. This fast‑track position rotates through key dispensary functions, building expertise in operations, customer experience, and people management, and prepares you for an Assistant General Manager role.

Key responsibilities

• Support management in overseeing daily dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with security, inventory, and state regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage deliveries, transfers, and vault accuracy.
• Lead team members in executing programs, promotions, and omni‑channel experiences (in‑store, drive‑thru, curbside, delivery).
• Handle cash transactions, discounts, and cash management procedures.
• Provide on‑duty supervision, recognize team performance, and maintain sales floor coverage.
• Partner with General Manager/Assistant GM to recruit, onboard, train, and coach staff.
• Coordinate scheduling, breaks, and badge processing with local agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of customer service or retail experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Preferred cannabis industry experience and inventory control background.
• Flexible availability for mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work varied shifts.
