Lead - Trading Origination

About the role

Hard Rock Digital is building a world‑class online sportsbook and is looking for a Lead for the Trading Origination team focused on NCAA Football. You will own the pricing and market strategy for the NCAAF product, ensuring competitive and profitable markets while leading a small team of traders.

Key responsibilities

• Own trading tools, interfaces, markets and customer experience for the in‑house NCAAF product.
• Lead competitor analysis, benchmarking and identify opportunities to improve product appeal.
• Champion automation and algorithmic innovation in college football trading models.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and data‑science teams to refine algorithms and evaluate performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and responsible‑gambling standards.
• Manage, mentor and develop a small team of traders, providing coaching and structured feedback.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of NCAA football and betting odds with significant industry experience in a trading department.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to validate and explain pricing model outputs.
• Ability to make real‑time decisions on model adjustments, edge cases and trading overrides.
• Commercial focus on accuracy, competitiveness and long‑term profitability.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends to match the sporting calendar.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
