• Design, build, and maintain shaders that balance visual fidelity with real‑time performance.
• Develop and maintain custom tools, pipelines, DCC plugins, and in‑engine editor tools to improve artist workflows.
• Partner with engineering, art direction, and production to define technical standards, budgets, and best practices.
• Own the end‑to‑end technical art pipeline, identifying bottlenecks and proactively creating solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist with a generalist background spanning lighting, character, and environment art.
• Prior lead or mentorship experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset able to shift between hands‑on production work and high‑level pipeline strategy.

• Shader development (HLSL, GLSL, node‑based shader graphs, or engine‑specific languages).
• Custom tool and pipeline creation (DCC plugins, in‑engine tools, asset validation/automation).
• Deep familiarity with Unreal Engine.
• Proficiency with standard DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, Substance, and ZBrush.
• Solid understanding of rigging, character setup, lighting workflows, and real‑time asset optimization.
