Lead Supply Chain Technician

About the role

The Lead Supply Chain Technician supports department processes by delivering excellent customer service and guiding associates through inventory control transactions. This role ensures accurate scanning, picking, restocking, and troubleshooting of critical supply issues across the Tyler, Texas facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee inventory control tasks such as scanning products, picking orders, and restocking par carts and point‑of‑use locations.
• Receive supplies, verify data accuracy, and manage re‑ordering of supplies.
• Troubleshoot critical supply order issues, provide status updates, ETA, and alternative options.
• Research product availability from alternate vendors or CHRISTUS facilities during outages and arrange transport as needed.
• Assist leadership with subsystem decisions, contract launch packet rollouts, and verification of process steps.
• Support supply chain and clinical staff with product knowledge and respond to INR/RNI team requests.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communicate changes to staff and customers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 3–4 years of relevant supply chain or inventory control experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines in fast‑paced environments and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Infor modules (Par Specialist, Purchasing Receiver, Inventory Management, Warehouse Clerk, Mobile Supply Chain Management).
• Competent use of the MS Office Suite.
• Experience with supply chain applications and inventory control systems.
