Lead Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Lead Quality Coordinator will be based on site and will monitor, evaluate and improve the quality systems supporting our LNG and gas projects. The role ensures compliance with industry regulations, company policies and internal standards while providing guidance to inspectors and other personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Caturus/Commonswealth LNG quality control procedures and standards.
• Coordinate inspector workload and allocate inspections according to contractor programs.
• Perform and participate in all required audits and represent owner interests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Verify completion of inspection forms, checklists and test records.
• Submit inspection reports to the Quality Manager for review and storage.
• Conduct routine and surveillance inspections on contractor and subcontractor work.
• Ensure approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and construction methods are used.
• Confirm that only qualified personnel perform critical activities through planned audits.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, safety‑focused environment.
• Understanding of quality management principles and methodologies.
• Willingness to act as deputy Site Quality Manager when required.
• Ability to travel or relocate as business needs dictate.
