Lead, Quality Assurance

About the role

The Lead, Quality Assurance drives quality across all phases of the software development lifecycle. This position blends technical expertise, leadership, and communication to champion quality standards, lead testing initiatives, and ensure product release readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce quality standards and procedures across engineering teams.
• Identify, track, and report key quality KPIs to support continuous improvement.
• Perform risk analyses throughout development and document findings.
• Create comprehensive test plans aligned with product and release goals.
• Execute manual and automated testing, communicating progress and results to stakeholders.
• Maintain and regularly update a test case repository.
• Lead evaluation, implementation, and improvement of testing tools and technologies.
• Establish and maintain an automated testing framework to maximize coverage and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software quality assurance with leadership or mentorship responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting metrics to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced development environment.
